If you selected the OBC category instead of General category by mistake while filling the SSC CGL application form, you cannot edit the category after final submission as per SSC rules, because the category field is one of the fields that cannot be edited.
- Prior to the closing date, you can submit a new application with different email ID, different phone number. This is the safer way to ensure that your correct category receives consideration.
- Initially SSC will accept the latest valid application if the multiple applications are submitted. Check that all information is filled out correctly on your new application. There is no problem with your re-application, however only last valid form will be considered.
