Candidates who have a valid GATE score can check the IIT M.Tech admission 2018 details below on this page to check the application dates for the IITs offering M.Tech programmes. Valid GATE scores obtained in 2016, 2017, or 2018 will be considered valid for IIT M.Tech 2018 admissions.

You need to appear for GATE examination for PG courses like Mtech.
The cutoffs vary as per total number of seats offered, Total candidates appeared, Difficulty level, etc.
The cutoffs for various specialization at top IITs shared below:--

As far as IIsc is concerned, cutoff for Electronic communicatione is 883, Aerospace has 773, Chemical has 702, Civil at 813, Mechanical at 910, CS at 881.
