Hi Radhika, in most of the private colleges admission process is very simple but admission in a rewoned private colleges may have some extra eligibility criterias.
A good private colleges takes admission on the basis of All India Entrance Exam like JEE Mains, NEET, COMEDK etc, or through State Entrance Exams like UPSEE, WBJEE etc., or through management quota or other quota like Government institutions they also take admissions with low rank but good private colleges used to follow the same selection criteria as that of for any Govt. college or university. Fees also vary college to college.

As you have not mentioned about your course for which you want to know about the admission procedure in private college ,that's why it would be tough to predict you anything . But still as you know for any course you have to give any entrance tobget admission in any college whether it is government or private else you can get admission on the basis if 10+2 marks required by any college for different course .
