Happy Guru Purnima to you as well!
Since you're in a situation involving syllabus changes, it's best to confirm directly with your university or college administration. Here's what you can do:
- University Department: Reach out to the department you're enrolled in (e.g., Department of Physics, Chemistry, etc.). They can provide the most accurate information on how NEP syllabus transition will affect students with previous syllabus.
- Exams Department: The university's exams department might also have information on how students with pending credits from the old syllabus will be integrated into the new NEP system.
Here are some possibilities to consider:
- Bridge Courses: The university might offer bridge courses to help students with the transition from the old syllabus to the new NEP syllabus.
- Credit Transfer: There's a chance some credits from your old syllabus courses might be transferred to equivalent courses in the NEP syllabus, reducing the number of new subjects you need to take.
Clearing KTs: Regardless of the syllabus transition, clearing your KTs is crucial. It ensures you have the necessary foundation for higher semesters.
By contacting your university and focusing on clearing your KTs, you'll be in a better position to smoothly transition to the next year, be it the old or the new NEP syllabus.
hope this helps you!!
