Dear Student,

There are many ways through which you can join Indian Airforce as a Airmen or as an Officer. You can join it after 12th or after completing the graduation.

* After 12th

• NDA- This is the best method to join Indian Airforce, in this method you need to clear the entrance exam at first then you need to clear the SSB interview after that medical, and if your name comes in the merit list then you will be called for the training in NDA for your respective course i.e. Indian Airforce.
• Airforce X/Y exam- In this exam you need to clear the online written test at first then you need to clear the physical and medical then after you need to make it into merit list after that IAF will call you for the training and after training you will become a Airmen in IAF.

* After Graduation

• CDS- This is the best method to join IAF after graduation, pattern is same as a NDA exam. And here they will call you in Indian Airforce Academy for the training.
• AFCAT- This is the separate exam to join IAF and this one also have the same pattern like CDS and NDA.

You also need to know that the syllabus is different in all the exams.
