Hello,
Nift entrance exam is divided into three parts (gat,cat,situation test). Candidates are first requiered to take gat and cat.(general ability test and creative ability test).These are conducted on the same day.
Cat has 50%weightage and gat has 30% weightage in the overall marks.
In a month time results are announced for the first round.
Candidates who qualify the first round(gat and cat) become eligible for appearing in the situation test.
Situation test has 20%weightage in the overall marks.
In the month of may the final results are announced .
Which tells ones marks out of hundred,ones common merit rank and ones category merit rank.
Based on the common merit rank secured, candidates astr called for the councelling process.
As such there is no particular cutoff for getting admission in nift kolkata.it just depends on your rank.
