Hi, the Karnataka board usually releases the timetable for Exam-1 and Exam-2 first. After seeing the results, they decide whether Exam-3 is needed. If needed, they will release the timetable later.
So at the moment, there may simply be no notification yet, which is why they told you that they don't have a puc 3 exam this year. You can visit the official website reguarly for the latest updates.
