Hey, I am currently in the first year of B.Tech Biotechnology programme. What should be my examination qualifying code as I wish to appear for NEET 2020?

Hello dear student , I understand your query and as you have told us you are currently in the first year of BTech biotechnology so the code that you must use in the  registration form of Neet is code 2 as you are in the first year of your graduation course  which is a 4 years course and you have not passed it yet . Your code will be 02. This is because though you are currently studying B.Tech, because your highest relevant qualification is 10+2, your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
