To apply for counselling at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), you must follow the admission process prescribed for your specific course. Admissions are based on the relevant entrance examination and the official NIMS admission process.
1. Submit the online application
- UG Courses (B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences, BPT): Apply through the official NIMS admission portal when applications are open. BPT admissions are based on Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test , while B.Sc. admissions follow the institute's notified admission procedure.
- PG Medical Courses (MD/MS, DM/MCh): Admission is through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty followed by the appropriate counselling process.
2. Submit required documents
For courses where NIMS specifies it, candidates must:
- Download and print the completed application form.
- Attach the required certificates and documents.
- Submit the application to the Executive Registrar, NIMS , either in person or by post, as mentioned in the admission notification.
3. Counselling and seat allotment
- NIMS publishes the merit list and list of shortlisted candidates on its official website.
- Eligible candidates must attend counselling and document verification at the NIMS campus in Punjagutta, Hyderabad on the scheduled date.
- Seats are allotted based on merit, entrance exam rank (where applicable), eligibility, and document verification .
