hey in 11th centralised admission process ..what to do if i want to hold the college alloted in round 1 for admission to be on safe side and also apply for round 2?

Since you haven't mentioned the exam you are talking about, I am presuming it is WBJEE.

After the 1st round of counselling if you get a college that you aren't satisfied with, then you can proceed to the next round of counselling. In this way, for the consecutive rounds, you will get colleges that were up in your list and had more priority. For instance, if you got CSE in SNU, that was 5th in your list, then for round 2 you will get colleges that are between 1-4 in your list.

However, once you ignore round 1's college and proceed to the next, you CAN NOT come back again if in case you aren't satisfied.  So to answer your question, NO you won't be able to.
