Yes, you can get into a medical college with a score between 500 and 540 marks.
Applying through all india quota, I'd say your chances are low..from what I've observe..you'll need a score of about 580+ but there's no harm in trying.
Anyways, your best chances lie in the 85% state quota. As you haven't mentioned your state but your profile shows that you belong to uttrakhand.
