To get admission in B.Tech in Marine Engineering, you will have to give IMUCET which is conducted by Indian Maritime University. Also, you can apply for the same in next year only as this year session is already over. The application forms begin in the month of March and exam is held in the month of May. After 12th you can go for IMU CET or IIT JEE entrance exam to become Marine engineering.
IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) is regulated by the Indian Maritime University. It is an all India online common entrance tests which is conducted for admission to the UG & PG courses in the field of marine.
Eligibility for IMU CET:
For appearing in IMU CET, you need to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates also need at least 50% marks in English in class 12th or equivalent.
