Hi.. I am asking on behalf of my friend. She has completed M.SC Physics & she want to know if she can become ISRO Space Scientist or not ? if not then what are the other positions there ?
Obviously see can be a space scientist. Now a days ISRO have lesser recruitments for Physics but that doesn't mean she can't.
Now I would recommend your friend to visit the IIST website where she can find the M.Tech programmes. By completing the program she can obviously apply for ISRO. Now she can also go for phD program and then to work as a senior researcher at ISRO. So to be space scientist is a dream which can be fulfilled with some extra efforts and time investment.
Now other than this If she have interest in Nuclear Physics, then BARC exam is a great opportunity for you. She can go for it and while working at BARC she can pursue phD also from HBNI. Also through GATE, DRDO takes Physicists for Interview so she also have possibility in that field also.
