hi i am from Maharashtra and i have sc state caste certificate so i have to make new state level caste certificate for 2025 upcoming exam!! please reply

Yes, since you are from Maharashtra, you already have an SC caste certificate, but since it is a state-level caste certificate, you may need to get a new caste certificate or validity certificate, depending on the requirement of the examination. Most state or central government exams in 2025, especially exams considering reservation benefits, will require a valid state-level SC certificate issued by the Maharashtra government.
If the examination authority states you need:
- State-Level SC Certificate issued by the Maharashtra Government (valid).
- Caste Validity Certificate. (as required by the exam authority or as required for higher education or employment).
If your caste certificate is expired and/or your certificate does not follow the correct format, (i.e. it does not follow the latest prescribed format), it is better to obtain another from your local Tahsildar or any competent authority.
