Surely you can prepare for the civil services exam while you are in the college. Firstly go through the syllabus and exam pattern of UPSC exam and then decide for yourself which optional you want to take. Take into account all the factors before deciding which optional you have to take as in the difficulty level, how much time will you take to grasp the subject.

As far as whether you can prepare while being in college, it will completely depend on you how you manage your time. You cannot ignore your B.Tech studies and yo have to manage your competitive studies also.

It will completely depend on how focussed you are and how you manage your time. The need of the hour would be draw a clear cut plan for your prepration and ensure that you adhere to it.

Yes, for sure you can prepare for IAS and other civil services exam. Because you can appear for these exam only after completing your graduation and you age should be 21 years.

Only thing you will have to take care about is that your coaching and your college studies should go hand in hand be managed by you.

its totally depend upon you that you can prepare during college classes. because you have to maintain both the college course and IAS exam simultaneously.

if you can do both at the same time properly then join it. otherwise, you can try after pass out.
