Hi I am interested in studying at nit Karnataka can you pls tell me the cut off marks needed and can I study be mechanical engineering there

Dear Gowri,

According, to last year cut off you need to score more then 150 marks in JEE Main to get admission in NIT Surathkal in general category other state quota.

To get mechanical branch you should score around 200 marks.

NITs provide B.Tech course. There is no difference in B.Tech and B.E course both provides same value and no degree is superior over other.

The only difference between both the degrees is B.tech is a practical course and B.E is theoretical course.
