Hi, I recently appeared for jee mains in January and only got 70 percentile. I am very disappointed because I know I can do much better.

Hello Kara
There is always a better option. So, do not get disappointed or feel low and keep pushing your limit.
Work hard for your 2nd phase exam and try to improve your percentile. Do not ever think that anyone is judging or something.
These marks has nothing to do in longetivity so keep your head up and focus for the next.
That's is good if you are confident that you can score better.
Sometimes we get panic or do not able to handle the exam pressure and in this condition we do many silly mistakes so I would suggest you to be focus on your study and hard work .
Don't get over confident and panic during exam just calm and relax and try to find out the mistake which you did in january exam due to which your percentile is less .
And don't disappoint about this you can do even better than your friends in April exam because you are now familiar with the exam pressure and conditions and you know how to handle it.
So good luck.
