hi, i want to know whether one can take CSE branch without any basics in 12th class and would he be able to cope with it just fine or not. is there somewhat "to-do-list" to be able to opt for CSE?

Any undergraduate course in this present curriculum offers basic computer science and coding languages such as C or C++ as part of the coursework to train students in order to equip people for the further coursework. Many students have taken Computer Science Engineering without having taken CSE as part of their 12th curriculum.

If you put in the necessary work, there is no reason why you should be able to score well in your undergraduate . But in case you feel compelled to do something and you can try and familiarise yourself with these basic languages of C and C++ or even Python which would be helpful for you in the future.
