hi mam! radiography is a good courses is it have more opportunitys mam help me
Hello,
In the paramedical profession, radiography is one of the most promising employment alternatives. Radiographers have high job prospects both in the United States and abroad. Radiographers are in high demand in nursing homes, hospitals, diagnostic centres, and super-speciality hospitals as health services grow by leaps and bounds.
Someone interested in pursuing a B.Sc. in Radiography should have completed Science (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Maths. The course will take three years to complete. After 10+2 Science, you can also enrol in one-year certificate programmes.
Radiographers operate in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, Accident & Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, and Operating Theatre as part of the healthcare team. In a nutshell, radiographers are educated to perform x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other diagnostic procedures. Radiographers are sometimes involved in the delivery of radiotherapy to cancer patients. Sonographers are radiographers who can also perform ultrasound tests.
Some institutions offer two-year diagnostic radiography and radiation diploma programmes.
