Hey Jayasri with 7016 category rank you don't stand high chances in old NITS and top 8 NITS namely Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal, Allahabad, Surat and Jaipur. But you can surely go for NIT Silchar, Nagpur, Delhi and of course Andhra Pradesh. Getting into a NIT shouldn't be tough for you. Do participate in the counselling sessions and best of luck
