Hi there,
For falling under EWS category you should be
1. belong to general category
2. Family income less that 8 lakhs
3. Family should not have farm land of more than 5 acre
4. Residential flat should not be of more than 1000 sq.ft
if you fulfil the above criteria then you are eligible to get a certificate of EWS category.
you should get an "Income and Asset Certificate" issued by a officer not below the rank of a Tehsildar in a state of UT
