HI....Basically my son is in 10th grade..I need names of few best colleges and cut off percentage of that collges. so that we can forcouse on that colleges..(interested in Computer Eng../Information Technology)...And if any other formalities to be completed before the admission... pls guide us..

To study computer science and/or information technology after 12th you must chose the following subjects for your son's 11th class:-

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Computer Science/Information Technology/ Information Technolgy.

Make sure to get a minimum of 75% in 12th boards to be eligible for top colleges. Then in your son's 12th, fill the JEE main exam application form. It is an exam for admission in top colleges like NITs, IIITs, and after your son clears the cutoff of JEE main then he is eligible for JEE Advanced, an exam explicitly for admission in Indian Institute of Technology( IITs ).

After the exam and results, a rank will be declared and to get a good college, your son's rank should be under 1000 for mains and advanced seperately as both have seperate colleges to avail once cleared.
