hi,i didint entered my surname in the jee mains application,i applied for all sessions at a time,i forgot to correct,after next session nta didnt give a chance to correct.i had my surname on 10 class memo.will i face any problem in future,means at the time admisson??please advice mee..

Hello,
Although it is not indicated in the JEE Main information brochure that yo u need to fill the details such as your name, father's name, mother's name and date of birth as in class 10th certificate yet filling the details in the application as per class 10th certificate was preferable. As the correction window is already closed you cannot correct anything in the application form. If your name in all other certificates such as class 12th, category certificate, study certificates, government photo identity card etc is same as in class 10th certificate then you need to get an affidavit stating that the name in your certificates is the full name and it belongs to you. You can provide this affidavit at the time of admission so as to not retain your candidature.
