Hello Harshad,
You are in diploma second year right!?
No worries you still have one year left to complete your diploma. And then you will have to give ecet exam for lateral entry admissions in btech colleges(btech 2nd year) .
By that time just make your basics clear. And simultaneously start preparing for ecet. After joining in btech college you will know what engineering exactly is ; )
