As per the percentage you have a less chance of getting admission to the NITs as your rank matters while admission even in your category.It was the first phase so you can score good in the second phase and can also give the state exams and JEE ADVANCED and also can give exams of private colleges like VITEEE, SRMJEE ,BITSAT ,etc.

With this rank you have a low chance to get good NITs.you should appear in April month exam.i f you want to join engineering sector you should appear in state exam and jee advance.you may go for private college also.
