Firstly go through the basics of class 11th and 12th,then try to solve the previous year question papers as well mock test series.You should prefer OP Tandon(for general & inorganic chemistry),Arihant publications(for organic chemistry) ,RD Sharma for maths and HC Verma for Physics.

It's great to hear from you that you are aspiring to crack JEE with rank less than 1000 in a year.
Any of your dreams come true when you work hard for itt.
So just dont even ever think that you cannot do it. Have belief in yourself that you can make it. Start preparing right now to achieve your goal and to see your well wishers happy and delighted with your achievements.
Preparation for exams like JEE mainly depend upon factors like time management in exam and knowledge of the respective subject. So start to increase your knowledge of the subjects. Start from the subject whichever you like. It'll help you gain confidence to work more hard. Don't skip any of the lessons because there can be a simplest question coming in the exam over the same topic and if you don't attempt it, you miss 4 marks.
As you have very limited time to prepare for such a tough exam, don't think that your path to success will be that easy. There will be too many hurdles in on the way to make you think that you cannot do it, but have faith in yourself and just go on.

yes you can easily crack your JEE in year with rank under 1000 all you need is to study well,prepare your time table,clear your concept, know your syllabus, even some test series of jee is also available online and in the market so consider them also. also note that JEE exam mainly based on the NCERT, so practice the NCERT.

Actually it  varies from person to person and his confidence levels, the way he/she prepare for this one year.

If you are strong with your 12th basics, I suggest you to go for it, irrespective of thinking about probability. Work to the best that you can do, then one day you will recognize your self, whether you are in a position to do it or not.
