Homeopathy is popularly known as alternative medicine. It simply defines that the thing which causes the symptoms of a disease in a healthy person must cure the same symptoms in an ill person.

The duration of undergraduate homeopathy course or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery) is of 5and ½ years.

The entire BHMS course comprises of several topics to impart the basic and advanced knowledge and hands-on training on different branches of medicine, biology, and physiology. The candidates need to complete the internship of one year before getting the final degree. The BHMS curriculum includes:

1. Anatomy
2. Physiology including Biochemistry
3. Organon of Medicine, Principles of Homoeopathic Philosophy and Psychology
4. Homeopathic Pharmacy
5. Pathology and Microbiology
6. Homeopathic Materia Medica and Therapeutics

Eligibility criteria is as follows:
