Hi Candidate,
Hostel charges varies from institute to institute.
There are two types of hostels:
- In campus hostel, these are under college administration and students responsibility are of college staff like warden. It provides higher security but takes higher fees too. The fees depends on type of room one takes, either single seater,double seater or ac room or without AC room etc. I suggest you to visit the college website for hostel details. You can also visit physically and talk to warden for admission details and take review from hostelers.
- Off- campus hostels, also known as pg are not under college. There is not any responsibility of student after he or she left the college premises. The fees is comparatively lower but highly depends on facilities it provides. If facilities are more than college hostel, the fees would be higher than college hostel. If you are planning to stay at such hostels, take room that is not too far from the college as you need to do daily up and down for your classes. It has its own private management system.
