Hostel is only allocated to students on the basis of their merit either in class 12th or entrance exam and allocation of a hostel room also depends on the category. This rule ensure that all the students belonging to different categories are allocated in hostel. Students who've scored really high marks in their belonging category are admitted to the hostel.
