how are percentage calculated in cu-cet entrance test
Hello,
Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is conducted once in a year. It is a national level entrance exam in which 10 central universities participated every year.
The merit list is calculated on the basis of marks obtained in board certification (10, 10 + 2)/ qualifying degree course and marks obtained in CU CET.
Weight age is given as such:
- 30% of boards certificate ( 10,10+2).
- 70% of CU CET
The merit lists will be released online and students are required to log in and check the scorecard.
For example :
- 80% is Aggregate Marks of 10+2 Exam then 30% of 82 = 24
- 75 Marks in CUCET then 70% of 75 = 52.5
- Net Merit for CUCET Weill be (a+b) 24 + 52.5 = 76.5
Hope this helps!!
