Students who score higher than this threshold are invited to participate in an interview with the Services Selection Board.
This examination is a personality test that determines whether or not you have what it takes to be an officer in the Indian Armed Forces!
There are 15 Officer Like Qualities (OLQs) that one has to possess in order to pass the SSB.
The names of them are as follows:
Intelligence that is effective.
Ability to reason logically.
The ability to express oneself.
Confidence in one's own abilities.
Determination.
Ability to plan ahead of time.
Initiative.
Courage.
Cooperation.
Sense of personal accountability.
Stamina.
Ability to Influence Others in a Group.
Liveliness.
Adaptability in a social environment.
Decision Making in a Short Period of Time
The SSB is in effect for a total of five days.
You will be contacted either on the first day of the interview or on the final day of the interview if you are unsuccessful.
If you are recommended on the fifth day, you will be required to pass a physical examination, after which you will have to wait for the merit list, which will determine whether or not you will be allowed to join the Indian Army as an Engineer.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
