How can I addmission in Assam medical college?

Dear Mokibur, NEET is the entrance examination for admission into Medical and Dental colleges across India. This is also the case for Assam Medical College. For being eligible for NEET, you should have passed your +2, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as your core subjects with a minimum of 50% as your qualifying marks if you fall under general category. You should be atleast 17 years old by December 31 2019. If you fulfill this criteria, then you should hurry and fill in your NEET application as November 30th is the last date.

In 2017, a rank in 8000s got a medical seat in AMC. However, you cannot rely on the past cut off as cut off marks change from year to year.

You will have to appear for NEET UG entrance exam for admission to Assam Medical College or any other medical college in the country. Only AIIMS and JIPMER are the two institutions which conduct their own entrance test for admission to MBBS course.

You will have to qualify the NEET exam and after that Counselling is conducted for admission to state quota seats in colleges by State Authorities. If you are from Assam and fulfill the eligibility criteria you can participate in the Counselling.  You should aim to score 400+ marks in the exam for admission to the college.
