Hello,
Interior designers work both in residential and commercial settings. While there weren’t many colleges in the past to provide such innovative courses, the scenario is quite different today. It is a diploma course of 2 or 3 years/ a degree course of 3 years which you can do at any point of time if you have class 10th qualifications.
In some colleges, the admission process is merit based, whereas in some cases, you need to sit for entrance examinations. You can opt for any of the courses
- B. Des in Interior Design
- B.A. in Interior Design
- BSc. in Interior Design
- B. Voc in Interior Design
After getting a diploma/ degree from any renowned college, you need to learn basic skills in AutoCAD 3DsMax/Sketchup + Vray. You can go for direct jobs after this, or internships in order to gain better exposure.
Hope this helps.
