Even Aligarh unviersity suggest for B.A .
It is available in Amazon with the name of Aligarh university (2016)wit wit hsolved question papers ...
And most of the experts and professors from that University suggests the books in Amazon..it is good of if you are well enough .

The difference between B.A and B.A(hons ) is the specialization in subjects .
Both the courses are undergraduate programs but in hons hons you are specialization in one subjects like English or history .so , you will have more papper of that subjects .
Syllabus for both the course are different .and in ba Hons specialization of one subject , you will learn detailed aspects of that subjects .it's a four years degree ..and ba is a three year degree.

To get admission in AMU
As per the elgibilitiy you should have at least 60%( may varies from course) of marks and the age elgibilitiy .
After that you should appear for AMU entrance exam ..after once you qualify the full Eligibility you will be followed by Admission .
Last Dates for apply for exam
B-tech,b.arch , MBA ,b.ed ,ba.llb- March 2019.
