Maximum Mark differs every year in case of IIT JEE criterion to estimate the rank. the cut-off percentage varies according to the difficulty level of the paper.It may be even impossible to achieve the cut off of jee mains with only 12th. Jee checks your skills to apply and therefore the questions are a mix of many subjects.

Start making notes of concepts you read every day in form of small points.
Revise then daily.
Use good standard books.
Solve all previous question papers.
Solve variety of questions possible in each topics.

You need to concentrate on the concepts invloved in the subject rather than byhearting them,Study more than 12 hours dailys and practise the previous year question papers and even practise the model paper and set the time limit as your exa duration,then you will get an idea on how to write and how to use the time during the examination.

Make a note of important formulas and concepts in a seperate book and revise them while attending the exam.

By following the above lines,for sure you may get more than 250+ marks in JEE ADVANCE
