How can I get admission in aims college
Hello Dear Student,
Admission to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is entirely entrance-based . You do not need to apply separately to AIIMS for MBBS admission. Instead, you must qualify the relevant national-level entrance examination and participate in the centralized counselling process.
Step 1: Meet the eligibility criteria
Before applying, ensure you satisfy the following requirements:
-
Age: At least 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year.
-
Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English .
Minimum Marks:
-
General/OBC/EWS: At least 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
-
SC/ST: At least 50% aggregate .
Step 2: Qualify the required entrance examination
Admission depends on your performance in the relevant entrance exam:
-
MBBS: Qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) conducted by the National Testing Agency. Admission to AIIMS campuses is based solely on your NEET UG All India Rank .
-
MD/MS and MDS: Qualify Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test.
-
B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical Courses: Qualify the respective AIIMS entrance examination, where applicable.
Step 3: Participate in counselling
You do not submit a separate admission application to AIIMS for MBBS.
-
MBBS: Register for the counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). AIIMS seats are allotted based on your NEET UG rank , category, and seat availability.
-
Postgraduate Courses: Participate in the counselling process conducted through the INI CET admission portal.
Admission is granted only after successful counselling, seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment.
