Admission to the college is done by submitting forms online within a certain given time after which the candidates are called up for the Entrance test (if any) and the Counselling procedure.
The Admission procedure for UG and PG courses starts in May and continues on till June. submission of application form for M.Phil courses start in the month of May as well and goes on till June. For Ph.D. courses, the submission procedure begins and ends in December itself. For B.Ed courses the process starts in February and continues upto March.
The undergraduate courses comprise of three years, postgraduate courses comprise of two years, while the P.hD courses are of 2 years.
Key Points to Note:
- Students having passed +2 may apply for any or as many undergraduate courses of their choice

The college has certain reserved seats for three separate categories :
- Catholics, and other Christians
- SC, ST, economically challenged, physically challenged, outstanding sports persons, NCC Cadets and schools administered by the Calcutta Province of the Society of Jesus
- Sons and daughters of College Alumni Association members with long standing record of service to College and society
- These students of Category II & III who do not have the minimum required aggregate marks of 60% for applying, but fulfill all other criteria, may meet the Principal / Vice-principal / Dean for special permission to apply. Economically challenged students from a poor background may meet the Principal / Vice-principal for consideration
