How can I get character certificate for admission in DU LLB if I have completed my graduation as external student?

You need to give character certificate from the last college you have studied. So, even if you are an externl student, you should recieve character certificate from the college. Ask them, I am sure they will give you.

And if it doesn't work, there is another option you can try which is to get the certificate from MLA/MLC (Member of legislative council) or local police station.

It is better you do two things, first get a character certificate from the school you completed your 12th from. Second, you get a certificate from a gazatted officer and third you get a character certificate from the area counsellor you reside in. This should serve your purpose.
