How can I improve my physical chemistry. As I am weak in this.which book should I follow for self study.because I have no good teacher
Hello there. Physical chemistry is an important part of chemistry and have a great importance in all the competitive exams. First of all, you should be going with NCERT as the concepts present in NCERT are the one that are being used in all the exams and it will help you to create your strong base. Since in physical chemistry most of the part is numerical, you need to solve as many problem as possible. Now at board level, you can refer to the books like pardeep publication. But if you want to study for competitive exams, you can refer to books like O.P. Tandan as this book contains lots of practice questions and many of the JEE mains questions are from this book. Also the language is quite simple so you can easily grab the concepts
To get strong in physical chemistry try to focus on numerical part and you need to memorize lots of information regarding the elements and molecules. So keep practicing and you will be able to easily tackle the problems
The best way to get started with your intermediate Chemistry is through NCERT Chemistry. Be thorough with NCERT and practice it's questions as much as possible. Focus on the numerical portion and before that be thorough with the theory portion.
