How can I prepare for Neet-Pg from 2nd year without coaching?
Hii,For pg entrance exams, patho & pharma are important subjects since significant no. Of questions come from them. Few questions come from forensic but it is one of the rank deciding subjects. (No comments about micro coz its also covered in medicine somewhat).
There are 2 ways- either you can focus majorly on mcq books which have notes of every topic, followed by mcqs. Example- gobind rai garg for pharma and patho (seaparate books) or arvind arora for patho, rachna chaurasia for micro, arvind arora for forensic. Just stick to these books.. read the given text and solve mcqs.. keep your textbooks only for reference.Or.. you could focus majorly on textbooks and solve mcqs., then you could buy books just with the mcqs n explanations. .
For cracking AIIMS, you need to read more than just the list of important questions for semesters and prof exams.. focus more on understanding the thing, making concepts rather than just ratta and values etc. These subjects are very interesting unlike biochem, psm etc. So read as much as you can and form links in your mind patho/micro-- pharma. * do read robbins. - basic pathology.
