For maintaining effective study notes you need to follow some tips. Here are the list of tips:

• Understand your learning style first like visual learning, auditory learning, learn/write learning, Kinaesthetuc learning.
• now try to write notes according to your style of learning.
• Don't write everything just make notes of important topics just to take a glance.
• Organize your notes in proper structure.
• Use highlighters or colored pens to differentiate.
• Divide contents(tables,diagrams,graphs)
• Use technology for notes making.
• Always keep your notes upgraded.

You have to analyse the particular chapter and maintain all the key points and key topics in the notes .You have also write formulas of all the chapters in notes so you can revise all the formula in one go .

You have to summarize a chapter in notes so that can help you at time of examination

Don't describe the topic in lengthy manner .prepare short notes which are easy to carry and create them in easy language with proper neat and clean work .
