70% of the VARC is about reading comprehension and hence if you master the reading comprehension part you'll be able to score 99 percentile easily in the VARC section of the CAT. And CAT RC is all about comprehension and not about english grammar or vocabulary. Therefore I suggest you should increase reading habit and read at least 5-6 articles on different topics like economics, politics, science, history, etc. Comfort yourself with different different topics.
You could use websites like ALT DAILY, ATLANTIC, GUARDIAN, THE NEW YORK TIMES.
