how could i take addmission for MA education if i donot have B.ed
Hello Baswaraj,
To pursue post graduation in the education field you have two options, either an MA in Education or an Med. The eligibility criteria for MA education is as follows:
Bacheor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45%
While, for Med it is as follows:
2 year undergraduate course of Bed.
As you do not have Bed you can pursue the MA in Education which is offered by colleges like:
- Loyola College, Chennai
- St.Xavier's College, Mumbai
- Miranda House College, Delhi
- Christ University , Bangalore
Unlike an Med , MA in education is pursued by candidates who are interested in educational studies and wants to do research in the same field. Med on the other hand will enable you to be a practicing teacher.
If you do want to pursue M.ed then it's advisable to pursue a Bed degree.
Thank You and All the best.
