How do i make career in lectureship with Botany as my subject

Hi, for entering into the field of the lectureship, that is in academics, your first need to complete your graduation, then enrol yourself in masters programme. You will also require to qualify the UGC NET exam, which will be comprised of two papers one will be based on reasoning and other will be on the subject you will choose and available in the UGC NET list. After qualifying the UGC NET though you will be eligible for lectureship but still you would be required to have PhD degree along with publications in UGC approved Journals. You can enrol yourself in PhD and side by side you can continue teaching. Enrolling in PhD will require you to have a good research proposal stating the topic on which you want to do your PhD and a good academic record.
