how do I take my seat from 1st round after 3rd round. please help.

Hi aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned the name of examination I assumed it to be JEE from your profile. The conducting authorities had provided three options to a candidate when you or she is allotted a seat. If he or she chooses freeze the seat will be locked and the candidate will be out from the counselling process, if candidate chooses float then he/she will be considered for allotment of a higher prefered choice in next round and choosing slide means the candidate would be considered for higher preferred branches in the same college only.

So if you have chosen float/ slide in initial round, then there is no way you can get that seat back once you are allocated a new seat and you choose any of the three options in next rounds. However if you have still not opted any choice or not given any upgrade then the initially alloted seat will be retained.
