How do Indian TV actors deal with financial crisis ? is TV industry safe in terms of regular pay and financial security ?

Well, to the external world it appears that all TV actors are rich and lead a very sophisticated and comfortable life. However, thats not ture. Many TV actors who are not in lead roles literally strive very hard. They are paid as per their duration of appearnce in any scene and their pay too typically is very average. Many actors are in debt and a lot of them quit acting career and take up some other job. During a financial crisis or a situation like this pandemic where there is a huge economic downfall, their lives too is very hard. They don't get paid for months together.
Along with a lot of politics that goes within the TV and film industry, pay is one among them. You can't assure there will be a regular pay. It depends on the success of the soap opera that produce or the movie they make. If channels that air the serials don't pay the producers and directors, then it will directly affect the actors, especially side actors who are not as muh recognized as the lead protogonists and antogonists. This applies to both TV and film industries. The reality is very horrible in many sides which are masked to the outside world.
