hi Himadri: Engineering Mathematics is very important for the GATE exam as the weight-age of this subject is around 15 marks. It is only subject having highest weight age in the GATE exam and easy to score the maximum in GATE compared to other subjects. 1)Practice the previous GATE problems after every topic completion. 2)Practice the concepts and revise the formulas in every week. 3)Attempt last year papers. 4) Refer important topics- Eigen values and vectors Finding rank and determinant of matrices Systems of Linear Equations Limit Maxima and Minima Newton-Raphson method Integration by trapezoidal and Simpson's rules Mathematical Logic (Propositions, and Predicate logic) Relations and Functions Graph Connectivity, and coloring Note: Make a revision (short) notes for every topic which cover all important points and formulas while practising the problems and this is how you can achieve your targets.
