How does student deal with an offer letter that was given to him but has been withdrawn by the company due to COVID-19 situation?

From the IIMs prospective, withdrawal has been minimal. In your case, you can essentially get into a network that you already have in your B school from alumni but more importantly, when you are applying somewhere else for a job then provide that information to the network. So, if the institution or the alumni network or your friends have anybody known in that company where you are now going to    apply, you have a better chance of getting help. I think the greater you are involved in this kind of network, greater is your chances of getting an alternate job. Until you get through an alternate space for a job, I think you must study in depth your own capabilities as to where you think you can employ your skills and which are the spaces apart from the ones that you have been placed with and more importantly the organisation that you are going to apply. Look at where the organisation is going in the future. If you are aligned to the future of the organisation they might give a chance of picking you up.

well during such crises the company will be weakened in financial crises so they would stop recruiting new employees.as you must have knowledge and skill you were recruited in a company you shouldnt be depressed nad try to find other possibilities to prove your skill and get another interview .

see if the financial condition break down in a company, than its normal that they will loose of some employees or stop recruiting new employees, however still there is many start up or middle age companies are in market which needs candidates, so despite of being in lost condition you should regain your composure and make your skills strong and try to go for other necessary possibilities.
