I'd say there are opportunities, but I wouldn't join assuming the college will automatically get you a good internship. You will come across internship drives and opportunities through the college, and some students do get internships through campus connections. But from what I've seen, getting a really good internship still requires you to apply independently.

For CSE, I'd start applying through LinkedIn, company career pages, referrals and internship platforms rather than waiting until the college sends an opportunity.I've seen students get internships in startups and IT companies, but I've also seen students struggle to find good internships. So I wouldn't quote a percentage and assume that's what every student will experience.
