To prepare for IIMC you must be updated with current affairs, new happenings, political, economic beats etc. You must also have a good writing skills in order to be eligible for written test and must read newspaper daily. After qualifying the written test you must prepare for group discussion and personal interview. All the questions asked in IIMC entrance exam generally covers current news, political decisions, government new policies and schemes etc. To have an idea about the exam pattern to can check the last year question papers for the various courses and prepare accordingly.

In order to prepare for the IIMC entrance exam, you must be well versed with the current affairs, general knowledge, read the newspapers regularly. Practice mental ability and reasoning questions also. At the same time listen to the news and remain updated with the policy related decisions of the government and important appointmnets that are made. You must be also aware about the awards that are given in various fields and more particularly related to media and journalism.  Go through the past years question papers as well as it will indicate the type of questions that are asked in IIMC question papers.
